The upgrade ensures Cordlife Philippines has on-site and remote “round-the-clock monitoring of critical laboratory conditions” by its trained personnel so families’ stem cells are “protected, viable, and ready for use following a standard release process.”
“At Cordlife Philipines, your baby’s stem cell safety is our top priority. We’ve upgraded to an advanced 24/7 Real-Time Laboratory Monitoring System that safeguards all critical equipment — foremost of which are our six cryogenic storage tanks — with continuous temperature and humidity tracking, both on-site and remotely,” Laboratory Director Dang Vinh Do said in a statement
One of the key features of the upgrade is its web-based dashboard delivering real-time alerts via email, SMS, and phone using a three-tiered escalation protocol to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
The dashboard also generates automated reports for better documentation, transparency, and operational efficiency. This provides Cordlife Philippines thorough historical data and comprehensive checks of their laboratory equipment and facilities.
Along with software upgrades, the improved real-time monitoring system is now powered by multiple backup and redundancy systems for power, connectivity, and alarms ensuring an extra layer of protection.
These new upgrades from Cordlife Philippines are calibrated in compliance with international standards such as ISO 17025 and the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the United States.
