PMSEA ‘s exhibit of vintage mining equipment had a soft opening during the 70th ANMSEC and in attendance were PMSEA president Luis R. Sarmiento, ASEAN Eng and the members of the Baguio Museum board headed by Nicholas ‘Bong’ Tabora.

Sarmiento explained that the availability of the vintage mine equipment and artifacts right in a corner at the Baguio Museum will serve as part of the awareness being conducted by the PMSEA to educate the youth on the facets of the mining industry and entice them to embrace the industry and take up mining-related courses.

The Itogon Suyoc Resources, Inc. (ISRI) lent its vintage mining tools to the Baguio Museum administration for this PMSEA mine exhibit.
