Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) continues to be a leader in nation-building and environmental sustainability, earning recognition from both local and international bodies. With a focus on quality management and community upliftment, ALI and its subsidiaries have been recognized for their significant contributions to the development of the Philippines.

A Commitment to Quality

ALI’s dedication to quality is evident in its diverse portfolio, where strategic planning, cutting-edge technology, and ongoing innovation are central principles.

The construction arm of ALI, Makati Development Corporation (MDC), was recently awarded the Recognition for Mastery in Quality Management by the Department of Trade and Industry.

This honor, part of the 26th Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessment Cycle, makes MDC the first construction company in the country to achieve this prestigious recognition. The PQA represents the highest level of national recognition for exemplary organizational performance and is key to the National Action Agenda for Productivity, aiming to boost economic growth amidst global challenges.

The Azuela Cove Seawall project highlights MDC’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. By employing Design for Modular Construction (DfMC), the project addresses flood prevention and ensures timely completion. This achievement earned MDC the Infrastructure Category award at the Philippine Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards for the fourth consecutive year. MDC will represent the Philippines at the 2024 American Concrete Institute’s Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards.
