Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) welcomes Cagayan de Oro, Bacoor to dealership network

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) closed the year by opening its 36th and 37th dealership in key areas in Luzon and Mindanao.

Opened last November 22, 2024, Hyundai Cagayan de Oro marks HMPH’s first partnership with the Autocentral Group. The dealership is strategically situated in Cagayan de Oro City, which stands out for its urban development, vibrant economy, and its role as a gateway to numerous tourist and commercial attractions in the area; making it a prime business location with dynamic market potential at the heart of the region, with easy access from all parts of the city and surrounded by numerous residential communities.

Located at National Highway, Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City, Hyundai Cagayan de Oro spans 1,300 sqm with a showroom that fits two display vehicles. Dedicated service bays are also available for customers who need to bring their vehicles in for check-ups and repairs. Furthermore, Hyundai Cagayan de Oro is also equipped with authorized Hyundai Mobile Service units, which are Staria Cargo vans loaded with service tools and equipment ready to attend to customers in need anywhere within the city.

Present at the inauguration ceremony were HMPH executives, Mr. Jiho Son, President, Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director, Mr. Jae Ha Ryu, Directing Coordinator for Sales and Dealer Network Development, Mr. Young Uk Ko, Directing Coordinator for Aftersales, Mr. Francis Robert Ang, General Manager for Dealer Network Development, and Mr. Victor Vela, General Manager for Sales. The momentous event was also graced by Autocentral Inc. executives, Mr. Brian L. Chua, President, Ms. Deborah Joan S. Chua, Managing Director, Mr. Charles Vincent Sy, General Manager, as well as Ms. January Go and Mr. Lyndon Go of the Board of Directors.

Then last December 12, HMPH closed the year with the inauguration of its 37th dealership, Hyundai Bacoor. The opening of Hyundai Bacoor marked the brand’s first dealership in partnership with the Borromeo Motoring Group (BMG).

Bacoor City is rich in historical and cultural heritage, while providing a good balance of both residential and commercial areas in Cavite – serving as one of the prime spots for Hyundai to expand its dealer network and reach more of its customers in Cavite. The dealership is 2,129 sqm big, featuring a showroom that fits up to six display vehicles, as well as a service area with seven bays for customers in need of vehicle repairs or maintenance.

In attendance at the ceremony were HMPH Executives Son, Capacete, Ryu and Ko together with BMG executives Max Borromeo (President) and Frank Eizmendi (Chairman of the Board) and Paolo Borromeo, President of Performance Motoring Group Inc., and Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla.
