If that familiar face of a billionaire in “The Kingdom” took you by surprise during the most recent Metro Manila Film Festival, then we’ve got news for you.
Manuel V. Pangilinan, the tycoon behind Metro Pacific Investments Corp., is getting ready for his Hollywood debut, according to a report by Deadline.
The article states that Pangilinan will serve as the executive producer of “The Last Resort,” an upcoming romantic comedy set in the Philippines.
The film will star Daisy Ridley and Alden Ehrenreich, both prominent actors in the “Star Wars” franchise.
We’re not sure yet if Pangilinan will do a “Kingdom”-style cameo here, but anything’s possible so keep your eyes peeled, especially once filming starts.
