Regulators, energy firms tackle ‘trilemma’ with Ejap

Representatives from the country’s energy regulators and top private-sector players will highlight the intersecting challenges of the Philippine power sector at the second energy forum of the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (Ejap).
This will be held on Sept. 11 at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) headquarters in Makati City.
With the theme “State of Philippine Energy: Balancing the Energy Trilemma,” the forum will highlight obstacles and opportunities as the industry seeks a sustainable balance among three critical goals. These are energy security, affordability and environmental sustainability.
Key speakers include Energy Undersecretary Mylene Capongcol, Energy Regulatory Commission chair and CEO Francis Saturnino Juan and SEC Chair Francis Lim.
Joining them in a panel discussion are representatives from First Gen Corp., Aboitiz Power Corp. and San Miguel Corp.
