Birthday cookies, sloppy burgers, and a limited-time bakery pop-up
The food scene is constantly changing things up with limited-time offerings, new flavors, and pop-ups that bring brands closer to people. It’s fast, exciting, and unpredictable—the kind that whets your appetite and teaches you to savor the chance and take it before it’s gone.
From sloppy burgers to snow cheese offerings, birthday cookies, and more, we’re listing new savory and sweet goodies you can sink your teeth into in this week’s lineup of must-try offerings that your favorite brands have to offer.
For Kenny Rogers, cheese isn’t just a condiment
Standing out in a crowded chicken market is not for the faint of heart. And you could say that Kenny Rogers—with its array of new menu innovations and ability to poke fun at double dipping—is at the top of the pecking order.
Now, the deliciously healthy brand known for its rotisserie chicken is jumping head first into another product offering that tickles Filipinos’ strong love for cheese: the Snow Cheese Roast.
“Our guests are always looking for something new to enjoy, and we love delivering on that,” says Frederick Siy, president and CEO of Kenny Rogers Roasters Philippines. “By introducing snow cheese, we wanted to create a unique and memorable flavor profile that elevates a familiar favorite.”
At first, it may sound weird. But akin to the feeling of falling in love with popcorn or French fries or salads dusted with cheese powder, Kenny Rogers’ Snow Cheese Roast evokes similar feelings with its levels of flavor. There’s the cheese marinade imbued within the signature moist roast chicken, then a sprinkling of salty and sweet “snow cheese” powder, and finally a side of creamy snow cheese sauce that bursts in the mouth.
The new cheese experience comes down even on its Solo B Roasted Chicken plate or as an additional sauce to perk up any of your Kenny Rogers favorite meal.
Just like its Chipotle Double Dippers, the Snow Cheese Roast continues to reimagine what the fast casual segment is shaping into—a model that commits to healthy meals while capturing consumers with premium ingredients and innovations.—Eric Nicole Salta
The ultimate snow cheese experience can now be enjoyed at every table, with the full lineup available at all Kenny Rogers Roasters stores nationwide. Follow Kenny Rogers Roasters’ Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts to get more updates.

8Cuts invites you to get your hands dirty with its new sloppy offering
Now a teenager by F&B standards, 8Cuts is going all out in true chaotic fashion, and the burger chain invites everyone to join in on the fun—by rolling out its limited-time offering: The Sloppy Burger.
Messy, sloppy, and gloriously over the top. Think two smashed patties with creamy nacho cheese and jalapeño ranch, a scoop of beef chili, then a crowning glory of fresh jalapeños and nacho chip tanglers. All this is (barely) contained within two brioche buns—stacked and packed to guarantee that every bite is crunchy, creamy, and unapologetically sour-spicy.
Diners can opt to go solo for P425 or pair this glorious disaster with a drink and a choice of onion rings or skinny fries for P570. They really said “go big or go home” with this one.—Diane Nicole Go
The Sloppy Burger solo and steal set are available via dine-in and takeaway, while steals are available for delivery via 8cuts.momentfood.com, Pick-A-Roo, GrabFood, foodpanda, and GCash Food Hub

“Elevated” Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2025 draws about 163,000 participants
Buoyed by more than 300 booths (with 70 percent dedicated to wines and 30 percent to gourmet cuisine) and an enriched experience that extended until midnight, the annual Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2025— organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and co-organized by the Bordeaux Wine Council—successfully capped off four days of drinking, dining, and devouring the best that the “city of gastronomy” had to offer.
“This year’s Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival has achieved impressive growth in both attendance and spending, delivering outstanding results,” said Rosanna Law, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism. And by outstanding results, that meant attracting around 163,000 attendees from more than 30 countries and regions (a more than 30 percent increase in average daily visits compared with last year’s turnout) and seeing a 40 to 50 percent merchants’ sales growth vs last year.
The overwhelmingly positive response can be attributed to several game-changing factors, such as the introduction of the 1855 Grands Crus Classes that brought high-end fine wines, the return of the Grand Wine Pavilion, the “extraordinary” Tasting Room, and the Towngas Gourmet Avenue that featured 12 award-winning restaurants in Hong Kong.
The event, without a doubt, brought the best of all worlds. And for sure will continue to do so in the years to come. —Eric Nicole Salta

Mo’ Cookies’ birthday cookie makes a comeback (with a zesty twist)
Rainbow sprinkles, the color confetti of celebration, and all things sweet and chocolatey. These are synonymous with all things birthday-themed—and Mo’ Cookies knows that better than anyone. To mark its seventh year, the brand is bringing back the beloved birthday cookie from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15 at P175 apiece.

Unlike most vanilla-based birthday cake flavors, the Mo’ Birthday Cookie comes with a lemon-infused dough that adds a bright, refreshing note in every chew. Studded with a mix of milk and white chocolate coins, finished off with brightly-colored sprinkles, it’s a cookie that tastes like nostalgia, celebration, and pure joy.—Diane Nicole Go
