PDI cover price at P25 starting Dec. 1

Philippine Daily Inquirer

Effective Dec. 1, 2025, the Philippine Daily Inquirer will be adjusting its cover price from P20 to P25 per copy.

This adjustment comes after sustained increases in the cost of fuel, which directly impact the printing and delivery of newspapers nationwide.

For years, the Inquirer has kept its price unchanged, absorbing rising costs of production to continue serving its loyal readers. While other major dailies increased their cover prices several years ago, the Inquirer maintained its P20 rate despite steadily rising expenses. Its last cover price adjustment, from P18 to P20, took effect on June 1, 2019.

Now approaching its 40th year, the Inquirer remains committed to telling the Filipino story through comprehensive, rigorous, and responsible news reporting, engaging features, and incisive commentary. We are deeply grateful for your continuing support, as reflected by the awards our reporters, columnists, and photojournalists reap each year and the high trust ratings we consistently earn.
