The reason why wages have not been able to keep up with not only home prices but even the cost of living is because the country has been following no industrial policy since the 1980s.

Another failed hyperbolic pronouncement in the 2022 Sona!!! From 6 million promised housing for Juan, was reduced to just above 438k plus in 3 years. What a shame—Pinoy dream house “built on sand.”

It was a bad choice from the start, Acuzar was a square peg. DHSUD focused on HOAs politicizing for some to make money for the corrupt, extending terms even if expired or worse, perpetually disqualified individuals for a fee. Just like almost all of the bureaucracy, graft and corruption thrives.
