BIZ BUZZ: FinTech Alliance PH gets a major boost with new big players
The Philippine fintech scene just got crowded—in the best way possible.
Now expanded with 22 new members, FinTech Alliance PH is set to take Philippine digital finance to the next level.
Global giants Mastercard and Visa are on board, joining forces with local heavyweights Security Bank, Grab Financial Group and ShopeePay Philippines—players that touch millions of accounts and handle a huge chunk of retail digital transactions.
The lineup doesn’t stop there. Leading fintech and tech innovators like Clari5—A Perfios Company, Cloud Raptor Philippines, HCLTech, Qoala and Monee are now part of the Alliance, along with academic and tech institutions such as the Asian Institute of Management, Amdocs and OneConnect Financial Technology Smart Technology Philippines.
Other members expanding the ecosystem include Paloo Financing, Rainbow Fintech, Scoring Technology, Talino Venture Studios, Veefin Solutions, Novus Transact, MoneeInsure Philippines and Yinshan Lending Inc.
With these additions, FinTech Alliance PH now boasts 150 corporate members, collectively driving over 95 percent of retail digital transactions in the country.
Of course, the timing couldn’t be better. As the Philippines ramps up its digital finance game, FinTech Alliance PH steps into the spotlight, bringing banks, fintechs, tech firms and regulators together under one roof.
From startups to major banks to global giants, everyone’s in and ready to bring their A-game.
Sure, some may compete outside the Alliance, but inside, the goal is one and the same: make digital payments faster, safer and more accessible than ever.
