BIZ BUZZ: DigiPlus cracks top 12 on Asia growth list

Emmanuel John Abris

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. just scored a regional bragging right—and it’s not a small one.

The digital entertainment firm behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone landed 12th place on Statista’s High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list, beating 42 other Philippine firms.

That ranking, copresented with the Financial Times, is no easy feat. It tracks companies with the fastest revenue growth from 2021 to 2024.

And DigiPlus didn’t just grow—it exploded. Revenues surged from $56.97 million (P2.81 billion) to $1.31 billion (P75.2 billion), marking a staggering 2,580-percent expansion.

DigiPlus chair Eusebio Tanco said the recognition validates the firm’s growth story and its push to deliver “world-class entertainment” across a rapidly expanding user base.

“This milestone reflects our continued commitment to innovation and delivering high-impact, world-class entertainment experiences for our growing user base,” Tanco enthused.

Notably, DigiPlus is playing in a crowded regional arena dominated by heavyweights from Singapore, India and South Korea. Yet it still cracked the top 15.

Closer to home, it had already swept the board. Earlier this year, Statista named DigiPlus the Philippines’ top Growth Champion, besting 50 local companies.

Behind the numbers is scale. The company has grown its workforce to over 3,000 employees as it ramps up its platforms.

With BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone continuing to evolve, DigiPlus is betting on disciplined innovation—and clearly, the strategy is paying off.
