BIZ BUZZ: Filinvest’s Paris gold rush
Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) has added some Parisian shine to its trophy shelf.
The Gotianun-led property developer collected three Stevie Awards at an Oct. 28 ceremony in the French capital: gold for Achievement in Management–Real Estate and silver for Company of the Year–Real Estate (Large) at the International Business Awards.
It also earned silver for Employer of the Year–Real Estate at the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, moving up from bronze last year.
Behind that workplace recognition are programs covering leadership development, succession planning, healthcare and confidential mental health counseling.
Employees also get a sporting outlet through the annual Bibot Cup.
FLI president and CEO Tristan Las Marias said the honors reflected the company’s approach to managing both its people and its business.
The latest haul follows its fifth consecutive Golden Arrow recognition for corporate governance.
For a developer accustomed to building upward, the move from bronze to silver offers another kind of upgrade.
