AppleOne, SGD open new diagnostics center in Cebu

AppleOne Medical, the health-care arm of AppleOne Group of companies that owns 70-year-old Visayas Medical Hospital, recently opened Visayas Medical Hospital Laboratory in Cebu.
A partnership with Singapore Diagnostics (SGD), the lab pitches more than 450 “cutting-edge” tests, global-quality standards, faster results, fully automated operations and specialized training for scientists and medical technologists. It can serve up to 1,000 patients a day.
Among the largest in the Philippines, SGD processes lab tests for more than 300 hospitals and health-care institutions.
“This is our way of helping elevate the quality of life of people in Cebu and the VisMin (Visayas-Mindanao) region,” says AppleOne CEO and president Ray Go Manigsaca.
