Compose Coffee tops Korean customer survey
Coffee chain Compose Coffee, a unit of Jollibee Foods Corp., ranked highest in customer satisfaction among South Korea’s leading low-cost coffee franchises, based on a survey conducted by the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA).
In a disclosure statement on Thursday, the homegrown fast-food giant said Compose Coffee had topped the KCA survey of 1,600 consumers, posting the highest overall satisfaction score of 3.97 out of 5.0 and outperforming major competitors in the value coffee segment.
The KCA is South Korea’s government-mandated consumer protection body responsible for monitoring consumer welfare, market transparency and service standards.
Jollibee said the survey results covered key customer experience drivers, such as customer service, operational expertise, menu quality, empathy and ordering convenience.
According to the company, respondents cited menu-price suitability, coffee taste and store accessibility as the main factors influencing customer preferences.
Compose Coffee emerged as the top-performing brand across these areas, reinforcing its position in South Korea’s highly competitive value coffee market.
Jollibee said the strong customer satisfaction reflected Compose Coffee’s operational execution and growing consumer relevance, as well as its expanding contribution to the group’s long-term growth strategy in coffee and tea.
