Converge transitioning from telco to ‘techco’

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has refreshed its corporate identity to reflect what the company describes as its transition from a traditional telecommunications provider to a “forward-looking” technology company or “techco.”

During the company’s mid-year town hall, the country’s leading fiber broadband provider unveiled a new logo as management charted the course for future growth.

“This new corporate identity was created with the future in mind,” says Converge president and cofounder Maria Grace Uy.

“We’re at an inflection point in our journey—from simply connecting people through fiber broadband to delivering digital-first, value-added solutions. Our transformation into a full-fledged ‘techco’ is well underway, and this refreshed identity captures that momentum. It represents our charge to go from fiber to the future, a future where technology and humanity converge.”

Aside from connectivity, Converge is investing in allied technology and infrastructure.

It is building a 1,200-rack data center in Pampanga and has two international submarine cables (Bifrost and SEA-H2X) to switch on this year. It is developing consumer solutions related to smart homes and digital lifestyle, alongside customized solutions for enterprises and the public sector.

It is even investing in promising tech startups.

The redesigned logo features an icon made of three bold, upward-flowing swoosh strands that form a letter “C,” symbolizing its “transformation and forward trajectory.” Each strand is seen to represent a key pillar of progress for Converge: connectivity, intelligence and experience.

“The strands convey movement, energy, and growth—mirroring our mission to go beyond building networks to enriching lives and enabling dreams,” says Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy.

“It’s a visual representation for how we’re leaping into the future—together with our customers, partners, and communities. It captures our desire to power the digital journeys of tomorrow.”

A bolder, more polished and sharper typeface is seen to reflect agility and progressive mindset.

The new logo keeps its teal color to pay homage to its roots but a darker shade signifies “deeper commitment to innovation and technology.”

To reflect the new business direction, Converge now seeks “to be the foremost technology leader that powers the digital journeys of tomorrow, uplifting the human spirit and moving the country forward.”

It also commits to a wider mission of enriching everyday life through “inspired innovations and human-centric solutions.”

The company also stated the new core values backing the broader mission: “malasakit” (care), innovation, customer centricity, excellence, passion for learning, inclusivity and courage.

“The future really looks exciting and brighter for Converge. With a fresh vision and broader mission, we are charging ahead with this new brand identity but at the heart of it all is really our commitment to leave no one behind in this digital age, to make sure that technology serves humanity,” says Benjamin Rex Emilio Azada, newly-appointed Converge chief operations officer.
