DigiPlus to roll out Pacquiao-themed games
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has partnered with boxing icon Manny Pacquiao to roll out cobranded digital games and expand its payments ecosystem.
In a statement, the digital entertainment platform led by tycoon Eusebio Tanco says the collaboration marks a “new round” for the country’s digital entertainment landscape, combining its gaming platforms with Pacquiao’s global brand.
A key feature of the partnership is a content-driven rollout of nine Pacquiao-themed titles designed for Filipino users. These include flagship games, such as Super Ace Pacquiao, Pacman’s Color Game and Wild Bounty Pacquiao, which draw from the boxing legend’s career and persona.
DigiPlus says the lineup builds on familiar mechanics from popular local games to create a more relatable player experience. Additional titles, including Boxing King Pacquiao and Manny Punch, are scheduled for release within the year.
Beyond gaming content, Pacquiao will serve as brand ambassador for ArenaPlus and GameZone, reinforcing the company’s push to blend sports, skill-based gaming and digital entertainment. His role will also extend to upcoming fights and tournaments under DigiPlus platforms.
The tie-up is also anchored on a payments integration with MannyPay, making DigiPlus the first official gaming partner of the platform.
MannyPay, operated through Traxion Pay Inc., is licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
