Filinvest, Infosys BPM extend teamup

Emmanuel John Abris

Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) is extending its 12-year partnership with Infosys BPM as the global IT-BPM company consolidates its Alabang operations in a larger office spanning more than 10,000 square meters (sq m).

In a statement, the Gotianun-led property developer said Infosys BPM would occupy five floors at Axis Tower Two in Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa.

The transaction, done through FLI’s office leasing arm Filinvest Cyberparks Inc., also provides for an eventual expansion involving more than 1,000 sq m of additional leased space.

The move will bring Infosys BPM’s Alabang operations into a single workplace while keeping the company in its established location.

“Consolidating our Alabang operations in a newer and larger facility gives us the capacity and workplace environment to support our next stage of growth,” said Rhodora Campos, Infosys Philippines country head.

Axis Tower Two is a Grade A office building that is registered with the Philippine Economics Zone Authority and has LEED Gold and WELL Core certifications.

These cover standards for sustainability, operational performance and occupant health and well-being.

FLI said its multiple office developments within Northgate Cyberzone allow tenants to consolidate, upgrade or expand their workplaces within the same business district as their requirements change.

The property developer is a subsidiary of Filinvest Development Corp. Its portfolio includes residential projects, townships, mixed-use developments, office buildings, shopping centers and leisure developments.

FLI also owns 20 percent of Filinvest Alabang Inc., the developer of Filinvest City.
