PhilWeb-backed JKS Tech Solutions seals exclusive gaming deal

JKS Tech Solutions, a business-to-business platform provider in which listed PhilWeb Corp. has invested, has secured an exclusive partnership to bring MegaWin’s gaming services to licensed Philippine operators.

On Friday, PhilWeb said services are targeted to launch in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to applicable regulatory approvals and contractual arrangements.

PhilWeb is expected to own a 30-percent stake in JKS upon completion of their investment transaction.

Under the MegaWin arrangement, JKS will provide hosted services through remote technology infrastructure and application programming interface-enabled integration.

This will allow domestic partners to offer MegaWin’s interactive gaming content to their users.

PhilWeb said the investment and partnership support its expansion in technology-enabled gaming services and its efforts to build recurring revenue streams from licensed operators.

“The MegaWin partnership secured by JKS builds on the momentum of our recent agreements and is another step in PhilWeb’s long-term strategy of expanding its technology-enabled gaming services business,” PhilWeb chair Lance Gokongwei said.

The deal follows PhilWeb’s recently announced exclusive arrangements with Pragmatic Play and Games Global as it broadens its offerings for the regulated Philippine gaming market.

PhilWeb expects the latest partnership to strengthen operator relationships across its business-to-business digital ecosystem, which includes Okada Manila, Hann Online, NUSTAR Online, FBM Philippines, NWR Play and PT Gaming.

It also sees opportunities for growth as more operators adopt the hosted gaming services.

“At the same time, we continue to build scalable and recurring revenue streams through technology-enabled services,” Gokongwei said.

MegaWin supplies digital gaming content and software to licensed operators.

Its offerings include mobile-first slot titles, fishing games and platform tools, with support for multiple currencies, languages and built-in tournament incentives.
