St. Luke’s invests in new breast care facility

Press Release

St. Luke’s Medical Center has launched a new unit for breast care, pitching what it calls a “world-class” and “holistic” facility to prevent and cure breast cancer.

The Center for Comprehensive Breast Care is designed to accompany patients through the full spectrum of breast health—from early detection and diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation and long-term recovery, according to St. Luke’s.

Among its services are highly specialized breast imaging, biopsy procedures, pathology, surgical and medical oncology, radiation therapy, and rehabilitation programs, along with psycho-oncology and high-risk clinics, clinical trials, patient education, and support.

“By integrating these services within one cohesive program, St. Luke’s ensures that every patient’s medical and emotional needs are met with precision and compassion,” the hospital said.
