Restoring balance

“No legacy is so rich as honesty.” – William Shakespeare

A life-altering experience could make us realize the importance of our actions and the limited time we have on this planet. The impact of a person’s life is reflected in the actions they leave behind as remembered by loved ones. Legacy isn’t just about wealth but truly about nurturing future generations, telling the truth, and contributing to society through kindness and helping others.

Legacy isn’t what people did to you. It’s what you choose to build after. I chose honesty, healing, and joy. Strengthened by the support of my children and family, I kept my boundaries, self-respect, and grace under pressure. I chose not to air dirty laundry in moving forward. Or publicly announce a union that years ago broke my marriage.

Healing starts when self-respect becomes louder than the noise. Keeping my focus on my real estate projects and wellness exercises, I have shifted my healing “noise” to more productive actions. To step up my beauty regime to age more gracefully, I started various treatments at Aivee Clinic. The beauty architects and Aivee Clinic owners, Dr. Z and Dr. Aivee Teo, who built their 17-year formidable empire together, grace the June 2026 cover of Tatler Philippines.

Captured through the masterful lens of Mark Nicdao against the iconic National Museum of Natural History, the cover serves as a striking visual testament to the couple’s ethos: a brilliant synergy of science, artistry, and modern innovation.

Lucky star

Over the years, The Aivee Group has transcended from a sanctuary for aesthetic treatments into a holistic lifestyle brand. Today, their footprint encompasses eight premier clinics across Manila and Singapore, alongside a curated selection of wellness ventures. Beyond their business acumen, the Teos remain dedicated to a much larger advocacy: putting “P-Beauty” firmly on the global map.

A shining testament to this continuous growth is the Aivee Group’s newest luxury wellness and beauty destination, Aivee Star, which hosted Tatler Philippines’ friends for an exclusive first look at its Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati space. Guests enjoyed canapés, bespoke cocktails, and DJ music while trying four signature treatments: Emsculpt, Exion, Emface, and Exomind.

Founders Drs Aivee and Z Teo shared the brand’s vision of “Building Confidence, Changing Lives” through science-backed innovation. Aivee Leaguers Michael Leyva, Dolly de Leon, Joanna Preysler, and Tim Yap spoke on each featured treatment. The night also featured a flower bar, Guerlain fragrance station with engraved gua sha, and dishes by Josh Boutwood.

The mark of beauty

Still on the topic of beauty, I attended the DMark Beauty event with Isispharma, a skincare brand that treats sensitive skin issues.

Through its continued commitment to bringing globally trusted skincare brands closer to Filipino consumers, DMark Beauty has consistently championed science-driven solutions for skin health and barrier protection. Among its key partners is Isispharma Dermatologie, a French dermatological skincare brand recognized for its targeted solutions developed to preserve and restore the skin’s natural balance, particularly for sensitive and compromised skin.

For Nikki Tang, CEO of DMark Beauty Corporation, the event was rooted in the idea that mothers deserve the same level of care and attention they naturally give their families. Isispharma Dermatologie CEO Grégoire Dewavrin added the importance of combining expert-backed skincare with empathy and accessibility for mothers navigating sensitive skin concerns.

Board-certified pedia-dermatologist Dr. Wilsie Walinsundin led the expert talk where she discussed the importance of protecting and strengthening the skin barrier. Alongside solutions for children’s sensitive skin, the event also highlighted Isispharma Ruboril, a dermatological skincare range developed specifically for sensitive and redness-prone skin. Powered by the brand’s patented B-Calm complex, the line is formulated to soothe inflammation, strengthen weakened capillary walls, and deliver lasting hydration through cleansers, lotions, and anti-redness creams.

Hair game on point

From skin clinics to skin products, we now highlight our hair. The Asian Hair Restoration Center (AHRC) recently hosted an informative session dedicated to exploring the frontier of hair restoration and bespoke wellness solutions. The center is known to combine advanced diagnostics, regenerative medicine, and physician-led expertise to deliver personalized and evidence-based hair restoration and wellness solutions.

As a specialized clinic dedicated to hair restoration, scalp health, and personalized wellness, AHRC is led by Dr. Julieta Peralta-Arambulo and Dr. Mariel Arambulo-Cordero. The center combines advanced diagnostics, genetics, and evidence-based treatments to provide customized solutions for hair and overall well-being.

Together with Nikki Tang, CEO of DMark Beauty and DermAsia, the two doctors formally presented how the integration of genetics, dermatology, clinical nutrition, and regenerative medicine form the cornerstone of their individualized therapeutic protocols. By analyzing a patient’s unique biological markers, the center is able to tailor treatments that go beyond surface-level symptoms.

AHRC strongly promotes ethical, doctor-led hair transplantation focused on achieving natural-looking results while protecting the patient’s limited donor hair.

Thanks to all the events and parties that keep my mind distracted, I am bravely surviving this emotional roller coaster journey. The real flex of being in public in social media is how many lives you can positively impact. Influence is nothing if there is no benefit to make this world a better place. Real power is when your presence inspires action and when your stories spark change that create growth. In sharing my stories, I hope to be an inspiration to never stop creating a legacy that your children will be proud of.
