Talk of the Town: Enforcing ‘walang wangwang
Comments on “Enforcing ‘walang wangwang’,” (Editorial, 4/15/24) via www.inquirer.net:
Indeed, many private citizens resort to buying their own vehicles due to traffic. Unfortunately, many of these people do not have carports in their residences, so they park their cars in the street, in front of their house, thinking they have a right to do so. So they block the streets with no regard for others’ rights, not minding that they are in violation of a law. In Imus, Cavite this is what’s happening in many villages and the HOAs are not doing anything. The govt, on the other hand, is too busy with politics

Don’t forget the [highway patrol groups] hired as escorts by those self-proclaimed VIP! HPG budget is public budget and not for private escorts.
