Since the martial law regime, our culture had become reactive—no planning even if the problems and challenges have become obvious which of course leads to inaction.

Renewable energy has lower energy returns because it requires oil and fossil fuels for mining, manufacturing, and shipping. Not only that, but the same fossil fuels are needed for mechanized agriculture and petrochemicals. Meanwhile, oil prices have been rising and even falling readily due to financial speculation, and as seen only recently.
