Designed around the Pasig family

Ar. John Ian Lee Fulgar

Pasig City has long rewarded families who choose to stay.

Its streets connect major employment corridors, its neighborhoods carry decades of civic memory, and its proximity to Ortigas, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), and Makati central business district makes it one of the most practical addresses in Metro Manila.

On May 30, Suntrust Properties marked a significant step in this city’s residential landscape when two of the four towers of Suntrust Kirana reached their highest structural point along Urbano Velasco Avenue in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

The topping off ceremony gathered executives, partners, investors, and future homeowners at the 7,083-sqm site.

A milestone that matters in Pinagbuhatan

The topping off ceremony gathered executives, partners, investors, and future homeowners at the 7,083-sqm site where 300 residential and 12 commercial units are taking shape across four low rise towers and a two-story commercial building.

For Suntrust Properties, a wholly owned subsidiary of Megaworld, the project marks its first foray into Pasig.

“Today’s topping off ceremony represents more than just the completion of a structure,” said Suntrust president Atty. Harrison M. Paltongan. “We remain committed to our homebuyers as we move one step closer toward delivering a community, they can truly call home.”

Suntrust takes a Modern Asian-inspired approach to low-density residential living, with each tower rising only five residential floors.

That measured scale suits households moving from older family homes or compact rental flats and gives the development a more private character compared with denser vertical communities in the metro.

The unit mix runs from studios to two-bedroom layouts, spanning 27.47 sqm to 37.86 sqm. That second bedroom absorbs a nursery, a work-from-home corner, a study zone for school-age children, or a private room for a returning overseas worker.

Individual electric and water submeters, mechanical ventilation in kitchens, custom kitchen cabinetry, and individual condominium titles give residents direct control over costs and maintenance from day one.

Shared spaces that earn daily use

The development’s amenities address what most condominium communities tend to underdeliver: spaces families actually use.

An infinity pool, kiddie pool, children’s playground, landscaped open lawn, and a gazebo activity area give households reasons to stay on the property through weekends. Safety infrastructure includes 24-hour security, CCTV, fire sprinkler systems, and smoke and heat detectors throughout the towers.

A community built for the long haul

Suntrust Kirana offers direct access to Pasig City Hall, the city market, and the major business districts of Ortigas, BGC, and Makati, which relates to shorter commutes, lower transport costs, and more time for the things that matter.

The two remaining towers continue toward completion. When the last beam disappears behind walls, windows, and doors, what remains should be a place where Pasig families find that the better life they imagined has finally acquired an address.
