Going big in Palawan: Megaworld gears up two sustainable developments to help boost tourism

Property giant Megaworld Corp. is breaking new grounds in the Philippines’ last frontier.
Two sustainable developments—Paragua Coastown and Baytown Palawan—will soon rise in Palawan, where it will mindfully integrate its pioneering live-work-play lifestyle in the province’s natural splendor. Here, Megaworld will create eco-friendly communities that can further strengthen the residential, tourism and investment landscape in this world-famous island destination.
Over the next decade, Megaworld is investing nearly P50 billion to develop both Paragua Coastown, a 462-ha eco-tourism community in San Vicente, and Baytown Palawan, a 6-ha mixed-use lifestyle estate in Puerto Princesa City.

Paragua Coastown is Palawan’s coastal gem
Located minutes away from the San Vicente Airport, Paragua Coastown rises to complement the captivating coastal vistas of San Vicente, which is home to the Philippines’ longest white sand beach spanning 14 km.
This community will soon feature two exceptional hotels. Savoy Palawan, a sleek 10-story green hotel with 306 rooms, is crafted for travelers seeking a premium island experience. The nearby Paragua Sands Hotel, which has 313 rooms, offers amazing views of Pagdanan Bay and the lush mountain landscape.

For those eager to call Paragua Coastown home, Megaworld has the 10-story Oceanfront Premier Residences, its inaugural beachside condo offering 189 smart units along with sweeping views. Another option is the 16-ha Paragua Beach Village, where lots are offered. Construction is underway for both projects.
Investors and businesses meanwhile can opt for the shophouse and boutique lots at the Mercato Shophouse and Porto Hotel Districts, which are also under construction.

Baytown Palawan as a rising lifestyle destination
In Puerto Princesa, Megaworld and its subsidiary Suntrust Properties Inc. are currently developing Baytown Palawan, inspired by Forbes Town in Bonifacio Global City.
Located along the Puerto Princesa South Road, Baytown Palawan will soon rise as a curated lifestyle destination in the city with its mix of residential condominiums, hotels, and commercial spaces.
By next year, land development will already commence for its anchor residential enclave called The Bellagio Palawan, a 12-story upscale condominium featuring 188 smart home units. Suntrust Properties, meanwhile, has already launched Sonrisa Gardens, its first residential project, comprising three towers amid lush open spaces.
No doubt, these two eco-friendly communities by Megaworld are shaping up to be a captivating complement to the island, promising an elevated living experience in Palawan.
