Survey to choose 2026 PH Best Employers begins

Thousands of employees of different companies in the Philippines will be surveyed soon to draw up a definitive list of the country’s best employers.
The survey, which starts May 8 and ends June 19, will identify the 2026 Philippines’ Best Employers, a search jointly undertaken by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, in collaboration with German market research firm Statista, Inc.
It will ask participants to rate their employers based on criteria that include opportunities for employees’ career advancement, openness to technological advances, willingness to listen to employees’ input and opinions, and promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Respondents can either rate their own company or other companies within their own industry that they can confidently recommend to friends and/or family.
The survey will evaluate not only nominated companies but all employers in the Philippines with a staff of at least 250 people. Potentially eligible companies were previously researched by Statista using numerous sources, e.g. industry associations, trade journals, economic data bases, etc.
Survey respondents can discuss other employers via a free entry option. These companies will also be considered. Statista will make sure it does not limit the eligible companies. While companies could be nominated during the nomination period, the nomination does not guarantee inclusion in the final list.
Survey participants can make direct and/or indirect recommendation. While they will be asked about their own employers, they are free to recommend an employer in their own industry based on their personal experience with it.
The survey participants’ willingness to recommend is the main component overall of the score calculation, which will take into account, direct and indirect recommendation.
The annual search recognizes that employees are in the best position to know what kind of an employer a company is. Through the annual survey, the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Statista, Inc. seek to find out from the employees themselves if their company lives up to the public persona it cultivates.
Now in its fifth year, the search recognizes that the kind of employer a company is should be as important as the bottom line. After all, an impressive bottom line owes much to an inspired, motivated, dedicated, and loyal human resource.
The Philippines Best Employers 2026 search will give employees, who are proud of who or what they work for, the chance to brag about their places of employment.
Inclusion in the Best Employers List enhances a company’s reputation and makes it easier for them to attract top talent and keep productive employees.
