Instead of trying to safeguard their economic rents or monopolistic profits by asking for a presidential veto, PLDT and Globe should try to be more competitive by improving the quality, reducing the cost and expanding the coverage of their services.

Konektadong Pinoy clearly favors the users. It’s about time that the duopoly is awaken from its stupor of lousy service to the users. Disregard their self-serving protestations. They have profited too much already!
