For the very first time, the Philippines will host WAN-Ifra (World Association of News Publishers) Digital Media Asia (DMA), the Asia-Pacific’s most influential gathering of news media leaders, innovators, and disruptors, to be held April 27-29 at the Manila Hotel.

Now in its 18th year, DMA has become the defining event for digital transformation, revenue innovation, and emerging technologies in publishing.

With its debut in Manila, the Asia-Pacific’s largest news media event unites global leaders and regional innovators to shape the future of publishing in the digital age.

WAN-Ifra brings the world’s largest press organization to the country’s capital as it represents 3,000 news publishing companies, 40 member associations, and 18,000 publications across 120 countries.

This is not just another conference—it is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for the region’s media professionals to connect with the global community and shape the future of news.

With its mission to protect the rights of journalists and publishers around the world to operate independent media, WAN-Ifra provides its members with expertise and services to innovate and prosper in a digital world and perform their crucial role in society.

International, regional voices

Attendees will discover how artificial intelligence, shifting platform dynamics, and the creator economy are reshaping the industry.

They will hear directly from international news organizations presenting case studies on building sustainable digital revenue models, while regional voices from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia add depth and local relevance.

New knowledge, strategies

The result is a powerful blend of global expertise and regional insight, ensuring every conversation is meaningful and every connection valuable.
