BIZ BUZZ: Ayala Land’s people win
Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is proving that investing in people can be just as rewarding as investing in real estate.
The Zobel-led property giant emerged as the biggest Philippine winner at the 2026 Human Capital Awards Southeast Asia after bagging one gold and three silver awards for its human resources programs, besting the other local firms recognized this year.
ALI took home the gold award for its employee rewards and recognition strategy, while its enterprise-wide HR digital transformation initiative, learning and upskilling programs and efforts to build a high-performance workplace each earned silver honors.
The awards, presented by The Economic Times HRWorld Southeast Asia in Singapore, recognize organizations that use practices to improve business performance and innovation.
For ALI, the latest haul reinforces a growing belief in the corporate world that talent—not just land banks—can be a competitive advantage.
“The recognition reflects ALI’s commitment to fostering a high-performing workplace where employees are empowered to grow, innovate, and succeed. By continuously investing in its people, leadership, and workplace culture, the company is building a future-ready workforce that supports long-term business growth and creates lasting value for its stakeholders,” the company said.
