Land Bank of the Philippines recorded a threefold growth in digital transactions last year, driven by robust performance across its digital platforms.

In a statement on Friday, the bank said it processed 800.26 million digital transactions in 2025, pushing the total transaction value up 30 percent to P4.41 trillion.

Accounting for a large portion of the growth was the bank’s corporate internet banking platform, weAccess. It logged a 35-percent increase to P1.84 trillion, equivalent to 51.13 million transactions.

Government disbursements through the Electronic Modified Disbursement System (eMDS) grew 28 percent to P1.55 trillion across 5.27 million disbursements.

The state-owned bank’s mobile banking app also contributed to the surge after posting a 37 percent increase in transaction value to P618.82 billion from 714.39 million transactions. The app’s user base reached 2.4 million by the end of 2025.

Meanwhile, web-based payment channel Link.BizPortal, processed 8.75 million transactions worth P16.13 billion, showing a 33 percent increase in value.
