Ovialand expects to post P880-M net income this 2025

Housing developer Ovialand Inc. expects to end the year on a strong note as it continues to get robust demand for its units in key Luzon provinces.

The company expects a significant jump in its bottom line, which could hit P880 million from a year ago’s P507 million.

Revenue may likewise climb by 22 percent to P2.43 billion from P2 billion in 2024.

“Despite heavy rains and supply challenges and a very active construction year, we continued to build and deliver,” said Monica Mendoza, Ovialand investor relations and compliance officer.

According to Mendoza, the company built 770 houses for the year.

Ovialand currently has nine projects across Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and Bulacan, totaling about 5,000 units in the pipeline for its residential inventory.

Asked if the firm would also roll out projects in the Visayas and Mindanao, its chief executive officer Pammy Olivares-Vital said expanding outside Luzon remains off the table.

“Right now, we’re really focusing on our existing areas in Luzon because there’s still a lot of places where we can go to,” Olivares-Vital told reporters on the sidelines of its company event on Wednesday.

Just late last month, the group marked a fresh partnership with Japanese firm Takara Leben Co. Ltd., covering a project in Baliuag, Bulacan.

Takara Leben specializes in condominium development, real estate leasing and distribution.

Dubbed “Anara,” the 275-unit development represented Ovialand’s strategic expansion to the north of Metro Manila.

The executive previously said that Ovialand would focus on the emerging middle-class Filipino family, with “premium real estate” at P3 million to P5 million price points.

“We want to give them the best akin to luxury without the luxury prices,” Olivares-Vital said.
