PhilWeb teams up with Games Global

Emmanuel John Abris

PhilWeb Corp. has entered into an exclusive partnership with international gaming solutions provider Games Global, a move that will allow licensed gaming operators in the Philippines to access hosted gaming services through the company’s platform.

On Friday, the gaming technology provider said the agreement marks an expansion of its gaming technology offerings as it continues to strengthen its presence in the country’s regulated gaming market.

Under the partnership, licensed gaming operators in the Philippines will be able to use hosted gaming services provided through Games Global’s technology platform once the necessary regulatory clearances and contractual requirements are secured.

PhilWeb did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement or provide a timetable for the rollout of the partnership.

The company described Games Global as a leading global business-to-business (B2B) provider of hosted gaming services and technology solutions, serving operators across regulated markets worldwide.

Games Global delivers its services through scalable application programming interface (API) integrations.

The partnership is expected to expand the range of gaming content and technology solutions that may eventually be offered to Philippine operators through PhilWeb’s platform, subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

Earlier this month, billionaire Lance Gokongwei joined PhilWeb’s board after investing about P2.03 billion in the company.
