Who’s behind the local hospitality boom?

From Keyland’s debut into hospitality to a Shrektacular staycation, awards, expansions, and more, the Philippine hospitality scene comes alive with these exciting happenings.

Keyland enters the hospitality market with Alino Hotels

Keyland Corporation makes its debut in the hospitality scene with Alino New Manila, a 20-story, four-star lifestyle hotel along E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in Quezon City. The property marks the launch of Alino Hotels, a new brand inspired by Alagang Filipino—a reflection of genuine, heartfelt care rooted in malasakit, the Filipino value of easing others’ burdens.

Strategically located across St. Luke’s Medical Center, the hotel caters to medical tourists, business travelers, and long-stay guests within the evolving New Manila district—an area that bridges heritage charm with modern accessibility to Ortigas, Makati, and BGC. Alino New Manila features 128 rooms across a range of categories, including suites and a dedicated healthcare room equipped with a HEPA air purifier and hospital-grade cleaning solutions for families of St. Luke’s patients seeking a more sanitized environment.

Guests can also enjoy an outdoor pool, gym, and local dining at Kutchara, led by executive chef Rexsan Abarquez, where Filipino classics are reimagined with a modern flair.

Under the leadership of general manager Lady May Elegado, Alino New Manila sets a new benchmark for accessible, authentic hospitality that celebrates Filipino warmth and professionalism. The opening marks Keyland’s strategic expansion into lifestyle-driven developments, guided by the Alino promise of care in every detail.
