WHAT IS “FACE CARD”

Face card traditionally pertains to a playing card in a deck that features a person (King, Queen or Jack). The cards with faces on them usually hold a higher value than other cards, hence the evolution of the slang term.

Gaining popularity in social media, face card now refers to a person with highly attractive facial features that works like a credit card that never gets declined. 

When a person describes someone as having a face card that never declines, it is a compliment that means he or she has strikingly good appearance and is always beautiful or handsome. 

A person with a face card can use their charm or appeal to get anything they want. It is synonymous to having a pretty privilege.
