Foreigners in PH reminded of annual report for 2026

All foreign nationals in the Philippines are required to personally appear at the Bureau of Immigration (BI) to complete their 2026 Annual Report within the first 60 days of the year, the agency said on Saturday, warning that failure to comply could result in fines or legal action.

This is in compliance with Section 10 of Republic Act No. 562, also known as the Alien Registration Act of 1950, as amended, which requires all registered aliens to report in person to the BI within the first 60 days of the calendar year, from Jan. 1 to March 1.

The agency explained that foreign nationals must complete the online registration through its e-services portal and present the following requirements: A valid alien certificate of registration (ACR) identity card or original paper-based ACR, a valid passport and the official receipt covering payment of the previous year’s Annual Report fee.

The annual reporting will be conducted at the agency’s main office in Robinsons Place Manila, Intramuros, Manila, from 9 a.m. to 6p.m., Monday to Friday, except on holidays.

Virtual system

The BI likewise launched a virtual Annual Report system, accessible 24/7, including weekends and holidays, for qualified foreign nationals physically present in the Philippines with valid visas.

Registrants can complete the process online and pay fees via Maya, GCash, credit card or Landbank through the BI e-services platform.

The agency further reminded that all departing registered foreign nationals must settle their Annual Report obligations before obtaining an emigration clearance certificate, in compliance with immigration laws.

Failure to comply with the Annual Report requirement may subject the concerned foreign national to administrative fines or prosecution, in accordance with existing laws.

The public is advised to visit e-services.immigration.gov.ph. for the complete list of participating BI offices and additional information.
