P500K reward up for suspects in Bulacan exec slay
CITY OF MALOLOS—Bulacan officials have offered a P500,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of a policeman and his three accomplices involved in the murder of Board Member Ramilito Capistrano and his driver on Oct. 3. At a press conference on Monday, Gov. Daniel Fernando pledged to increase the bounty if necessary to hasten the arrest of Police Staff Sgt.
Ulysses Bernal Castro Pascual, assigned at the national police headquarters in Camp Crame, along with his cousin, Cesar Mayoraldo Gallardo Jr., and two other suspects known only as “Lupin” and “Jeff.” Police Col. Satur Ediong, Bulacan police director and head of the Special Investigation Task Group Capistrano, filed two counts of murder against the suspects in the Bulacan Prosecutor’s Office on Monday. Capistrano, 56, and his driver, Shedrick Suarez, 27, died instantly when a group of gunmen attacked and fired at their Mitsubishi Montero around 6:30 p.m. in Barangay Ligas here.
