Starting Oct. 21, the price of diesel will decrease by 70 centavos per liter, the first drop in prices in nine weeks, according to advisories released by oil firms Seaoil, PetroGazz and Cleanfuel on Monday.
The price of kerosene will also go down by 60 centavos a liter, while gasoline, on the other hand, will see a price increase of 10 centavos per liter.
Jetti Petroleum president Leo Bellas pointed last week to a decline in global oil prices amid concerns about the persistent US-China trade conflict, as well as a potential supply glut next year.
