Comments on “Continuing injustice for noble profession,” (Editorial, 2/2/25) via https://opinion.inquirer.net:

The single most important asset of any school is its Teachers. Yet, at DepEd, whether at Central Ofc or Division Level, the culture of patronage politics and mediocre mindset (pwede na attitude) pervades. THus, professional growth of Teachers is set aside for more expedient matters.

Probably true that teachering is a noble profession. And teachers are noble, that was then but it is now. Since the teachers or academe were infiltrated by activists, left leaning like Akbayan, Act, the teachering becomes an ignoble or dishonorable profession. And the teachers went to HK, Singa working as DH and mentoring their ward. And becoming an OFW is honorable, noble as they are now, the new Heroes.
