If taxes are reduced, there wouldn’t be any need to offer cash handouts because the cash is already in the wallets of taxpayers.. But then, that makes too much sense … in the republic of nonsense.

BBM is the chair of Asean this year. He’s good with photo ops, maybe he might be good at convincing those countries with oil to spare to share with those who are more in need like us. This is a test if these countless groups that take half of BBM’s time is worth anything.

How many crises will it take before the government learns this lesson? Without a long-term strategy on petroleum, energy, public transport, rice, and flooding, it will always be caught unprepared and struggling to respond.

[Reply to mario] This problem has been ongoing with no safety net placed by the government … so to answer you question, our government never learned anything from the past and will continue to be like this like raising the white flag. Our government keeps on borrowing money for a band-aid solution, not even a first aid.
