Bespoke living at M Residences Katipunan

A bold new vision for urban living took center stage on May 14 as Victor Consunji Development Corp. (VCDC) officially launched its fifth and newest M Residences, located in Katipunan Extension, Brgy. Tumana, Marikina City.
The event, held at the expansive 8-ha property, started with an introduction to the company and its vision, followed by guided tours of the house models. Guests were then treated to a curated gastronomic experience by renowned chef Josh Boutwood, who crafted a menu named after the various M Residences locations—including New Manila, Taguig, and Marikina. Each dish was thoughtfully paired with fine wines.

Innovative approach
Model units Aerin, Elise, and Kiara—showcased during the tours—offered guests a closer look at VCDC’s innovative approach to residential design.
These townhouses are expandable up to four floors and are highly customizable—from room count and configuration, to cabinet placement, and interior finishes with palette options of beige, gray, or brown undertones.
But what truly sets this development apart is its architectural approach.

Breaking away from its Modern Tropical style as seen in other M Residences, VCDC debuts a Brutalist aesthetic at M Residences Katipunan.
Brutalist architecture is highlighted by raw concrete textures, strong geometric lines, and softened with natural wood elements.
“What we wanted to do was put a little bit of character back into the home,” said Victor Consunji, founder and CEO of VCDC.

Tranquility and connectivity
Location wise, M Residences Katipunan is situated in a tranquil part of Marikina, removed from the urban chaos yet conveniently close to a rapidly developing corridor featuring prestigious universities, top-tier hospitals and establishments.
This sense of serenity is reflected throughout the development, with 38 percent of the area dedicated to open spaces. At the heart of the community lies the Lifestyle Club, a 4,775 sqm hub featuring amenities like gym, covered court, function halls, swimming pool, onsen spa, jogging path, and even guest rooms for rent for visiting family or friends.

A total of 405 units, comprising townhouses and single-detached homes, are on offer. Prices for the standard two-story homes start at P22 million, P30 million, and P35 million, for Aerin, Elise, and Kiara, respectively.
A number of these units have already been sold, indicating a strong appetite for quality, custom-built homes in an accessible yet peaceful location. Essentially, it’s a community designed for those who are tired of settling for less, Consunji added.
