Singlife unveils new products

Emmanuel John Abris

Singlife Philippines has unveiled a lineup of new insurance offerings designed to match the changing needs and life stages of Filipinos.

In a media briefing, Singlife Philippines CEO Lester Cruz said the upcoming products mark “just the start” of a broader push to build more accessible and relevant protection solutions.

Cruz said the company is preparing to introduce more offerings that cater to different phases of Filipino consumers’ lives.

Among the products in the pipeline is Singlife Term Protect, a straightforward and affordable term life insurance plan. The product aims to provide financial protection for families in cases of death or disability, particularly during the years when coverage is most critical.

The company will also introduce Singlife Accident Support, a short-duration accident coverage that users can activate for specific periods.

Unlike traditional policies, it does not require long-term commitment, allowing Filipinos to secure protection only when needed—such as during travel, physically demanding activities like marathon training, or temporary high-risk work assignments.

Cruz noted that the product is designed to offer a flexible safety net as accident-related costs can escalate quickly.

Meanwhile, Singlife is bringing back its Dengue Protection plan, a targeted health coverage that provides financial assistance for dengue-related medical and recovery expenses.

The offering comes as dengue remains a recurring health concern in many communities, making such protection both timely and practical.

Cruz emphasized that the three products are built around a common goal: meeting Filipinos “where they are” and addressing real-life risks they face.

Term Protect focuses on long-term family security, Accident Support offers on-demand coverage for risk spikes, while Dengue Protection addresses seasonal health threats.

The new products are expected to roll out in the next quarter as part of Singlife’s continued expansion in the Philippine insurance market.
