DigiPlus seeks safer gaming with Sportradar
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has connected its sportsbook platform ArenaPlus to a global monitoring network. This is aimed at detecting suspicious betting activity, as the company strengthens safeguards in its fast-growing digital gaming business.
In a statement, the digital entertainment platform led by tycoon Eusebio Tanco said that ArenaPlus is now part of the Sportradar Integrity Exchange (SIE). This is a real-time intelligence-sharing system that allows betting operators to report and receive alerts on irregular wagering patterns.
The integration enables the platform to exchange data on potentially suspicious bets, helping identify possible match-fixing and other integrity risks across markets.
The SIE aggregates information from multiple operators worldwide. It enables Sportradar Group AG to detect patterns that may not be visible at the individual platform level.
This shared intelligence feeds into Sportradar’s artificial intelligence-driven fraud detection system. It supports investigations conducted by its integrity team, the company said.
ArenaPlus head Erick Su said that the move is meant to strengthen monitoring capabilities and improve user protection on the platform.
“By exchanging critical data with an established firm, we are ensuring a safer environment for our users and playing an integral role in protecting the integrity of the sports we support,” Su said.
Sportradar, for its part, said that the collaboration expands its integrity services in the region. It supports efforts to address manipulation risks in sports betting.
The integration comes as digital gaming platforms in the Philippines continue to grow. This has prompted operators to invest in systems that ensure fair play and maintain user trust.
ArenaPlus, launched in 2023, has positioned itself as a sportsbook partner for major leagues and events. These include the Fiba World Cup and local professional leagues.
DigiPlus said that linking the platform to a global intelligence network is part of its broader effort to improve transparency and strengthen oversight across its operations.
Alongside its sportsbook business, the company operates several digital gaming platforms. These include BingoPlus and GameZone.
The partnership highlights the industry’s push toward tighter monitoring. It also reflects increasing scrutiny on betting platforms as regulators and operators seek to curb risks tied to match-fixing and irregular wagering.
